What's the weather like where you are?

We had storms over night. Wind ramped up into the 40 mph range and .90" fell in short order during the night. At max rainfall, my weather station computed it was falling at a 3.25" per hour rate. There were tornadoes spotted a county South of here but they played out by the time the storm moved into my area. Rain, small hail, and winds was intense enough. Today was warm and a bit muggy. It felt like another storm brewing and one was predicted. I'm happy to say that the weather missed my area tonight. Currently it is 60° with only a 4.7 mph wind and no rain.

It is currently 37° and partly cloudy. It is to reach the low fifties today with NNW winds nearing 20mph. Tomorrow promises to be a warmer day but the March winds will persist.

It's starting out warm today and is to get into the mid seventies this afternoon. Winds will be in the 10 to 15 range but it's March and Kansas after all. Tomorrow is to be even warmer with temps in the mid eighties with a fair chance of rain.

It barely squeaked into the eighties here today. It seemed hot and humid. It was windy all day so no bike riding. There is a thunderstorm passing to my West that I might catch the tail of. It is to be considerably cooler tomorrow with the high in the low fifties and windy.

We received more than just a brief passing of the tail of the front. It rained and dropped some pea sized hail. It dropped 1.11" in less than thirty minutes. We need the rain but not so much at a time that most of it just runs off the yards and down the street. Some is far better than no rain.

The forty one degrees feels cold compared to the low eighties of yesterday. It is to remain somewhat cool today with a high of fifty predicted. It is to be windy and very windy tomorrow.

It is supposed to be nice today on the eve of a short cold snap. Seventy two is the predicted high for today, fifty nine tomorrow, and thirty eight for a high Monday. I hope it's winters' last hoorah. Sixties seventies and even eighties are in the ten day following the dip in temps.

The weather here is a bit strange. It didn't cool off over night and it was still sixty degrees when I got up. It has now dropped to fifty nine and is predicted to continue dropping into the twenties before midnight. My area is under a high wind warning today. It is currently blowing in the high teens and gusting into the low forties. It is to ramp up into the the forties with gusts into the sixties. Kansas is so rural that the majority of service lines are over head. Multiple power outages and downed trees are warned consequences. High profile vehicle travel is being discouraged.

My wife interrupted my typing with a conversation that caused a bit more time than simply typing to pass while composing this post. It's now fifty three degrees.

We ran to Costco shortly after posting the above. We wouldn't have been out but my wife was anxious to get her new glasses. Driving her little Jeep Renegade Trailhawk had the wind blowing us all over the road. Walking through the Costco parking lot was a genuine struggle as well. We came home and haven't been out since. There was about a ten minute span this afternoon that we had horizontal snow to the point you struggled to see across the street. At 7:00 PM the temperature has fallen to thirty two. There isn't any remains of the brief snow. It was seventy two yesterday... sheesh!

The wind seems brutal but is predicted to stay under the 20mph range that my weather app red flags. I see that the high gust today was 45.2 sometime after midnight. It is cold this morning. It was 14° when I got up and 37° is to be the high.
It's not the day to be outside.

After an overnight low of twenty eight, it's now ten degrees warmer. A high of fifty seven is predicted with winds in the high teens. It is supposed to get into the mid seventies tomorrow and Thursday and eighties for Friday and across the weekend.
