How can I delete selected cookies on Android Duck Duck and Firefox without deleting browsing history? Going into SETTINGS I don't see any separate setting just for cookies. If I select deleting it warns me it wil delete data.

Duckduckgo? Easy has a fire button.

In Firefox go to Settings and look for "delete browsing data". Click on that and you get a set of tick boxes for which types of data you wish to delete. One of the options is "cookies and site data", while "browsing history" is a separate option. So by selecting only "cookies and site data" you can clear cookies without deleting your browsing history.

I don't have the Duck browser installed so can't check that one.

this is one reason to use different browsers for different things

my downloader browser is set to delete cookies when i close the app.
it also has settings to specify what to delete at my whim

the browser that i log into sites with is set to not delete cookies at all

if you have certain search engines or home pages that use cookies for personalized settings then choose a browser that allows you to manually save the start page so that those settings are not deleted

also available in my downloader's settings

Thank you for the picture but I don't want to clear all the tabs. And I don't know which data it would clear. I just want to delete selected cookies and perhaps selected tabs. I don't want a shotgun approach to delete everything..

i use duckduckgo as a search engine, but i hate their app.

its slow and clunky.

other than deleting certain but not individual cookies and other info, i dont know of any way to actally go into the actual app data and pick and choose what you want rid of.

some file managers allow me to view these files, but i dont know exactly what i am looking at and i cannot modify them because i am not rooted

even if i was, i still wouldnt know what i was looking at.
