Considering Changing to Motorola Moto G Power 2025

I'm looking to replace my Samsung Galaxy J2. Aside from its excellent almost pro-like camera with full manual user controls, I have not been happy with the unit. From it's annoying screen overlaying Notification button to its confusing gallery folders to its sometimes complicated method of attaching pictures to its overall less than intuitive friendly design. Add in the most annoying "feature" is that it does not have audio voicemail retrieval. To get voicemail I have to download something from Galaxy store and agree to their "terms and conditions". So instaed I have to manually dial in to my voicemail get the newest voicemail (I sometimes have to through all old voicemails to get the latest ones..) A family member has a Galaxy J3, with which I'm even less impressed with its lack of user friendliness. Hence my decision to avoid Samsung.

My first choice, could I pick anything, would have been to look at the OnePlus 13R but that's priced way out of my range. I've seen decent even good reviews about the Moto G Power 2025. within its price range it seems it would be good. Yes, I know its camera isn't high-end great but its decent.

My question, to which I have not found an answerr, is whether the Moto 5 G power 2025 has a normal audio voicemail retrieval (My old LG phone's voicemail retrieval was pure simplicity.) I don't want to be stuck with a phone that has this same video voicemail issue as the Samsung. Perhaps someone is could answer my question or point me to where I could find the answer.

I am very happy with my moto edge 2022,it has flash notifications you can emble on the screen or as a light flash, build in voicemail just with the key press as well as sleek build and wonderful UI over all.
It has no video voicemail problem what so ever.

Amazing like you can switch to bubble or list notifications on the home screen.

It has not too much of a change from 2022 to 2025:

Thank you Milo Williamson for your post about the Motorola. That is very helpful in my coming to a decision about the Motorola.

Been a fan of Motorolla for so many years, I think nearly 16 years. I had six cell phones that were Moto and one was Samsung.

i do like motorola, and that is what i use.

but my Moto G Power 2022 is the last of the duds in that line.

the battery life is fine, good even, but the camera is lacking and the CPU is rather slow.

at any rate, the newer devices have much better specs than mine does.

Since I rely on the S Pen, I need a stylus phone alternative to the Galaxy S Ultra series. Samsung gives us fewer and fewer reasons to upgrade each year while charging more and more. The Moto G Stylus (2025) is highly-rated and regarded: the 2026 version is expected in April or May. It has plenty of stylus features, a headphone jack, a microSD slot and 68W charging. The stylus isn't Bluetooth capable, but the S24 Ultra was the last Galaxy device with that feature so that's a non-issue.
