Have China phones become quite expensive in America now because of Trump tariffs?
I dont see many costing more, what i do see is less manufacturer unlocked devices in the stores.
The cheap Motorolas that i see now are much better than what i have as far as the chipsets and cameras, but that is partly due to the advancement of those parts and partly due to the fact that my daily driver is an android 11 that was the last dud of its kind (thankfully).
Blessed with battery life and cursed with a slow chip and a blurry camera.
I have two Motorola Pure phones with faster chipsets and half the battery life, and 32 GB internal vs the 128 GB internal that this Moto G Power has.
My response to
@Rgarner would be to find a device that meets his specs that is new in the box but one or two models behind whatever is new at that time.
Most places are anxious to get rid of any old stock and i typically save ~50%
My biggest issue now is that it seems like i will need to do this online next time, as i dont see what i want in the stores i frequent.
Twice in the past i have gotten a manufacturer unlocked device for ~50% off that was one or two years 'old' as far as the android version.
I want a device that can use any cellular system so that i can make it work whereever i am.
I dont want the hassle of online shopping for something like this, because it is easier to inspect the device in hand before purchase, plus sometimes you can make a deal if they really want to sell a device.
