Post Your Last Purchase

My carrier came in late this afternoon.
Got it put together and put it on the Dodge.
My phone was inside so a pic will come later.

Gotta go to harbor freight, tomorrow, to get an anti wobble bracket and a couple better reflectors. Maybe a small tarp too.

Motorola Moto G Stylus 2026. The 256GB storage option was $100 more, but includes the Moto Buds Loops, the Moto Watch, and a Moto Tracker. Add two years of Moto Care with accidental damage coverage and it's still half the price of the S26 Ultra.

I hope you like it Chief and it serves you well.

Thanks @olbriar. I'm not sure how $499 for a phone like this is a "tougher sell" considering that the 256GB storage option also includes the Moto Buds Loop earbuds (which the Darling Bride will enjoy as they're a little too sparkly for me... well, WAY too sparkly) AND the Moto Watch. I'll test it against my Galaxy Watch Ultra to determine how the Polar fitness suite compares with Samsung Health: which includes a lot of features Fitbit charges for in its Premium package. Nonetheless, I expect my shipment from Motorola this time next week. It will be my first Motorola phone since the Moto X Pure.

Propane detector for my camper. Old one in my camper aged out, so I replaced it. One of my friends had his family RV explode back in the 80's, whole family severely burned, so I don't take shortcuts with safety on that.

I keep a carbon monoxide (CO) detector outside my furnace closet at home. It was chirping a couple of days ago so I replaced the batteries.
It started chirping again today. I was blown away, after checking, that it was a decade old. They normally don't last that long. Time for a new one. Detectors are paramount in campers IMO. So many things can go wrong after moving and should be tested or detected and not blindly trusted.

I ordered a new rear cassette for my main e-bike and the tools to remove the old and install the new. I also ordered a new chain. I just rebuilt the derailleur to find the rest of the drive train is also worn out.
23K miles was a bit more than the 3K to 5K life expectancy of the parts.

K&N Engine air filter and cabin filter. Purely on the K&N reputation. About twice the price of other filters, but washable, lifetime guarantee, and since I've been knee high to a grasshopper K&N has been "THE" king of air filters. It will supposedly add HP, but I'm not to worried about that. 7.3 Liter V8 already has plenty of power.

Bought a scooter carrier for our trip down to Florida. Had one that was given to us, already, but it seemed to be a more of a rattletrap.
View attachment 181105Also picked up a tarp, couple of bungee cords and ratchet straps to secure the load
If it didn't come with one, grab a hitch stabilizer, it will lessen any rattling, and offer a bit of antitheft. A lot of those hitch carriers and bike racks have them built in or come with them though.

My bike carrier has a hitch stabilizer. When it's tightened down, it becomes one with the truck. And the locking pin adds a level of anti theft as @Unforgiven said. Your carrier looks like a good one!
