What's the weather like where you are?

It is supposed to warm into the upper eighties but it is to get very windy. I've already logged a 24mph gust this morning. It will make for a miserable day to be outside.
With the watering restrictions and the lack of rain, compounded by the warm temps and drying winds, the yards about town are burning up. I've seen grass this distressed in mid August but never in early May.

The temps and the winds have ramped up over the last few days. Today's high was in the low nineties and the winds in the high teens from the South. It's very early in the season for the grasses to be shutting down or showing very little growth and a pale shade of green. I noticed the wheat fields are starting to turn. They are maturing a couple of weeks ahead of normal growth. It's a weird spring so far.

It has been miserably windy here the past few days. Today, my weather app shows a flag in the wind icon indicating it is to be even windier... sheesh. I have found that when they break out the ol' flag in the wind that they are predicting winds above the twenty mile per hour range. Eighty eight degrees is the predicted high but they were nice enough to tease me with a chance of rain tomorrow.

It reached ninety degrees today and was muggy considering the winds were in the double digits all day and mostly in the twenty plus mile per hour range. There is a line of strong thunderstorms passing mostly to my North. Though I'm on the fringe of the storms, it has dropped .41 inch of much needed rain so far with a potential for more.

It finally rained some last night. I logged .45" before midnight and nothing today.
A little is better than nothing. I have grass seed planted and hoped not to get a toad floater but definitely wanted some rain. I pretty much got my wish. The front that passed through dropped the temperatures and changed the wind direction. It's now 51° with a North wind. Yesterday's high was 90° and today's forecasted high is 61°.

Today is to be much like yesterday... cool and windy with a cloudy sky. It is just a little warmer so far and the predicted high is also to be a little warmer. Currently 54° with North winds at 6 mph.

It rained... sort of, over night. It just barely got the grass wet leaving the ground beneath dry. It looked like there was a great chance for additional rain most of the morning but mist was all that fell. It stayed cool but finally warmed into the mid sixties.
There was little to no wind so it didn't see cold even though it remained overcast all day. It is supposed to get into the low seventies both tomorrow and Saturday with a chance of rain both days. Keep your fingers crossed for the rain.. my area is dire need of the moisture.

I would have thought that it would have been overwhelmingly hot for our cruise.
Quite the contrary. It was very pleasant.

Now that we're back on US soil, the temperature in Jacksonville Florida feels overly oppressive at the high 80's.

I don't want to think about what SC brings when we get back.

↑↑ Welcome home my friend. I hope you had a fantastic trip. ↑↑

It was really nice here today. It warmed into the mid seventies, then dropped into the mid sixties as a front passed through, and then warmed into the mid seventies again.
It rained here and there but it only sprinkled here and it wasn't enough to register at my station. There was but little if any wind today so it seemed wonderful to be outside.

It is going to be nice today. It's already close to seventy and is to get into the mid eighties this afternoon. There will be some wind but nothing crazy is predicted.

Coming home for the last 6 hours, we had shampoo precipitation...
Drizzle, Rain, Repeat.

I simply can't stand driving, on an interstate highway, with thousands of idiots that don't believe in slowing down in the rain.

On the positive side, it's only 73 degrees.

It is currently sixty eight degrees with a slight easterly wind. There are some cirrus clouds that decorate the sky but it's mostly lots of sunshine. I high of eighty is predicted with the wind increasing as the day progresses. There is a slight chance of rain this evening and increasing over night. There is more than a fair chance of rain on through the weekend. I couldn't be that fortunate.

It rained here over night and has just stopped. I think I'm in for some additional accumulation. So far, 1.96" of desperately needed rain has fallen. The clouds and rain have kept the temps down. Currently it is only sixty eight degrees.

Seems like it rained quite a lot while we were gone. I noticed that several areas of our walkway had washed out significantly.

This is what the weather station app says.

The weather system moved out of my area this afternoon. I received 2.47" of rain. My buddy a dozen miles north received over three inches. It was a much needed rain and there is a chance of rain through the weekend. I couldn't be so fortunate.

It was humid today and it warmed into the upper eighties. A front is moving through as I type. The temperature has dropped into the upper sixties and seven hundreds of an inch of rain has fallen. It is an excellent rain for my baby grass and grass seed. The radar looks like the system is just about to move out of my area. I don't anticipate much additional rain.

It almost hit ninety today. It was very muggy which made it seem hotter. There wasn't much wind this morning but it blew harder as the day progressed. A thunderstorm cell passed close enough to my location that it sprinkled briefly. Currently it is seventy five degrees with a SE wind in the lower single digits. Max gust today was twenty six mph.

Hot... Today was hot. My station logged 97° for a high with humidity hovering around 70%. It was windy or I believe I would have suffered a melt down. It is supposed to be a bit cooler tomorrow with a high of 92°. So much for spring, I guess it's winter then summer nowadays.

As I sit here drinking my coffee, I wish I was riding my bike instead of getting ready to go mow lawns. It is beautiful outside this morning. Not a cloud in the sky, 77° with zero wind. The only negative is the humidity is high.

It topped out at 93° today. Though cooler than yesterday, the humidity made it a miserable day. There was a fair wind this afternoon but it is calm now with partly cloudy skies and 83°.
