What's the weather like where you are?

It appears that the rains are heading mostly Easterly from Texas and not taking the Northern route up through Oklahoma, Kansas, and Nebraska. We get a break from the rains that is all good. It was an excellent rain. At my location, only a couple of inches fell. It was a slow steady rain and most of it had a chance to soak in. The Fescue grass responded big time. I cut more grass yesterday than I have seen for a week's growth all summer. The yards needed that rain big time.

After an overnight low of 55°, it has warmed up to 57° with a predicted high of 70°. I do believe that fall has pushed summer to the curb. There is a NE wind blowing in the lower single digits that will get into the teens this afternoon. My ten day forecast has mostly seventies and a couple of days in the very low eighties predicted.

Today is to be much like yesterday. It is to warm into the mid seventies after an overnight low of 54°. It is to be less windy and the humidity to be a lower than yesterday. It's all good. It will be a great day to be outside.

It is a bit cooler this morning. The overnight low was fifty three and it is currently only sixty one degrees. There isn't any wind to speak of and the grass is wet with the 70% humidity. The high today is to be 77° with a slight South wind.

It was very nice here today. It started out in the low fifties, but the high was a warm eight six degrees. There was a slight South Easterly wind today and the humidity was higher than ideal. It was a nice early fall day.

Another nice day in the making. I could easily live in an area that enjoyed the present climate year round. It is currently 68° with a slight South wind. With a clear sky, they predict a high today of 87°. It is definitely my kind of weather.

After a string of nice days, the Kansas wind has raised it's ugly head. It is starting out a bit warmer today and the high forecasted is also a few degrees higher than then the previous few days. Instead of it becoming windy this afternoon, like yesterday, it was already windy when I got up. It is supposed to be stupid windy later today. I just can't wait.

It is raining as I type. Another .40" fell over night and an additional .31 has fallen since. The total rainfall for the event is 3.87" so far. It is just a wee bit boggy. The area is under a flood watch. I suspect the low lying areas are already seeing some water accumulation. I'm in the path for more rain and it is predicted to continue into tomorrow. Currently it is only sixty degrees under rainy skies.

After staying in the low sixties all day, the rain finally is taking a break. The radar indicates it is only a break and there is more rain on it's way. It is to last into mid day tomorrow. My forecast states that the chances of additional rain is nearly100%. With just under four inches so far, I'm not really needing more rain.

A one word description of the today would be COLD. In a couple of months today's weather will seem balmy. We fired up the furnace last night and it felt great when the temperature fell to a low of 35°. It warmed up as the day progressed and it briefly hit 61°. It was a really pretty day in spite of it seeming chilly. A clear sky with just a slight Southerly breeze had some out in shorts.

It remained in the mid fifties over night. There is a cloud cover with no rain forecasted. So far, there isn't any wind blowing but the hourly forecast shows the wind will get into the double digits this afternoon. The high today is to be in the low seventies.

The very North end of a front passing by to the South of my location dropped a whopping .01". Or, a bird with good aim left a deposit in my rain gauge. :)
It's currently 55°, no wind, with a high of 76° predicted. Naturally, winds in the teens, are also predicted for the afternoon.

Today has the makings of a great day to be outside. It is currently in the upper fifties. The high predicted is to be in the high seventies. The wind is supposed to remain in the high single digit range. Only time will tell if that's accurate. Loads of blue sky, ideal temp, and little wind will make everyone look for an excuse to enjoy some rays.
