Does android offer contact specific text message tones or is there simply one text tone for all contacts?

I'm coming from a BB Storm (this is a VERY welcome, VERY overdue upgrade). BB has a series of sound profiles where I can have silent( no vibrate), vibrate, loud, medium, etc, etc. Its very customizable in that regard. Does android offer the same features, or just normal and vibrate?

Can anyone confirm the colors of the notification LED? I've seen several speculations but no real confirmations. I saw a Moto Droid the other day with a blue LED, I was hoping the Inc. would have a RBG option to really customize your notifications...
