Hi MZ4Mobile, and welcome to Android Forums :)
I've merged your announcements to comply with the forum's "one thread per developer" policy, which aims to reduce forum clutter while making it easier for our members to follow your releases. I also merged the screenshots in with the announcement...
Hi joakins, and welcome :)
I'm no developer, but I moved your post to the Application Development subforum where our devs should be able to help you.
Or did you mean something closer to "carrier agnostic" - that is, the same setup works regardless of what carrier you're on? That's the approach that I've taken with Google Voice. I'm all-in with my GV number, no one has the number actually assigned to my SIM. That lets me hop carriers...
Oh yeah, sorry I missed that part. Inbox is being beta'd for general Gmail users first; it doesn't support Apps for Business yet.
You can just forward the invite email. I did that yesterday successfully.
I *want* to say that you can use Inbox with multiple Gmail accounts, but I'm not 100% sure.
I did find this over at the Inbox support forum though: https://productforums.google.com/d/topic/gmail/XkYuRcmEQ8Q/discussion
We've also got a short primer on Android permissions: http://androidforums.com/android-applications/36936-android-permissions-explained-security-tips-avoiding-malware.html
I can't say for sure, but some games may want access to your photos to be able to set a user avatar or similar - or for...
Here's a slightly older article on the subject: Android Task Killers Explained: What They Do and Why You Shouldn't Use Them
In short, using task killers (or memory cleaners) goes against how Android is designed to function. Android (and Linux, for that matter) isn't like older versions...
I updated the list to mark those 5 as "pending". I had actually already PM'd tjreishus and zetroc before the smart people made this all organized like ;) ; I'll coordinate with Brian to make sure they get covered and go ahead and PM the next two, vegajre and bigbuc.
Hi PlutocratApps, and welcome to Android Forums :)
I've moved your post into the App & Game Announcements subforum - a dedicated spot for developers to post about their apps. Incidentally, this is also where our members know to look for the latest releases.
While you're here, please...
Hi ShaQBlogs, and welcome to Android Forums :)
I haven't seen a similar list for Paranoid Android, but I imagine it would be pretty similar. I'd just be careful and make sure you can restore whatever you remove :D
Stock Android (up to 4.4.4, which I'm on) only includes the Disable option for System apps. You'll have to use something like Titanium (like Fox suggested) to disable User apps.
Hangouts Settings > (you)@gmail.com > Google Voice > Messages - tick the checkbox to display SMS and Voicemail in Hangouts.
I *believe* the Google Voice app is still needed so that you can place outgoing voice calls via Google Voice. No need for it if you're using the Hangouts Dialer as...
Hi there InGearX,
Have you perhaps tried booting the phone into Safe Mode? That would prevent any third-party apps from loading in the background. Hopefully, Bluetooth will stay turned off in Safe Mode and you can then slowly work to isolate what other app may be causing the problem.
Good luck!
