I purchased for my sister's husband Nexus 5 USA edition and not the international edition, I though the LTE would work in Kuwait but i appeared to be restricted to USA band only. That is a mistake I did, now is it possible to make LTE work in Kuwait in any sort of hack or anything?

I have successfully update my Nexus 4 to 4.4 KitKat officially but I didn't get all the features of it... I mean when I long tab on the home screen I can't get to view all the home screens as one as you can do in nexus 5... Is that normal? Will Google provide fixes?
