    Root htc desire on 2.2.2-how to root?

    Hi I have a HTC desire for about a year now and would like to root it. I am running 2.2.2 according to my phone settings. Tried the unrevoked version but my firmware is too new? I'm a novice and not sure what to do.can any one help at all? Thanks bry
