How exactly do unlock codes work? Will it be like; I buy a phone locked into a contract then I use the code and the phone will no longer require a contract? If not; how do they work and are they safe? I'm thinking of getting an S3.

I'm thinking about getting the GNEX. I'm asking you, the Nexus community whether you are satisfied with the device. I am getting it with the T-Mobile prepaid plan because I am a cheap piece of shit. Should I get the Nexus or wait until LTE phones come out on T-Mobile?

Will I be able to factory reset my phone or what? I'm looking for step by step instruction on how to unroot my phone and get it back to it's stock rom. I am going to return my phone to bestbuy tomorrow and I'm not sure whether or not they'll take it rooted/with a custom ROM on there. Thanks!

How does it work? I'm talking about the T-Mobile plan. Would it be better if I tried this method, or just got a prepaid phone like the HTC Evo V or something? If you could redirect me to a tutorial that would be nice!
