As I surmised, I was corrected, we had a small "luau" themed party to go to. We had a good time but stayed too late and got to bed too late, but we had a fun time.

Just yesterday my wife pointed out that Monday is Labor Day. It sure snuck up on us as well. It's been a crazy summer in a lot of ways. I don't actually think we're going to try and do anything...but doubtless my wife will let me know what we're doing at some point! :D
