I'd certainly heard of Charlie Kirk now. Even my Chinese wife had heard of him, and she only reads the People's Daily and watches China Central Television News. AFAICT he was an extreme political right Christian evangelist influencer.

Help Messages on Android: Samsung vs. Google. Which one and why?

On my Samsung Note20 Ultra it only had the stock Samsung Messages app. So that's what I use, and never given any thought to using another app for SMS. Although sending SMS it not something I do very often, and the only SMS I receive a things like bank notifications, carrier notifications...

    Online pdf

I just tried it on my Samsung Note20 with Firefox. It seemed to all display correctly, and I could tap and enter data into the various fields no problems. Althouh for forms lke that, I find it easier and more accurate to use the phone's S-Pen stylus than a finger.

    Okay big question.

Curved which way, concave (like some PC monitors or TVs are), or convex (like an old CRT)? Although I don't think I'd want either on a phone.

    Samsung Galaxy Watch

FWIW I use a Huawei Band 4 with my Samsung Note20 Ultra. Step count and heart rate are accurate, only needs charging once a week. And it was only equivalent of about $30 USD. https://consumer.huawei.com/sg/wearables/band4/

Getting rid of the Chinese language in my phone

Might be possible, but you have to check if your particular Redmi device can be rooted, and if there's a suitable non-Chinese custom ROM available for it. BTW my sister has a Redmi phone, but it's a British version bought from Vodafone, which did actually work when she came to China last month.
