Unfortunately, no. You are limited to what the mfr. has installed on the device and the updates they provide (if any). Unlike other OS's like Windows, Android is device-specific so if there is no version available for your particular device there isn't anything you can do. For whatever reason...

Banking apps generally don't work on rooted devices, so yes it's probably failing to install because of the custom build.

I like dark mode, use it wherever it's available. I find it easier to look at than a white page. But if you prefer light mode you can switch it, scroll all the way down and there's a style icon at the bottom left where you can select light mode.

On the Updated tab it won't time sort correctly, even when I select last post/descending the post order is incorrect.

I stay on New Posts, filtered for watched content. I find that every time I return to the page I have to reapply the filter (not change anything, just hit the Filter button again) for the content to be properly time-sorted in descending order. It's somewhat annoying, would be nice if that sort...

Looks like it's having an issue with mobile browsers, at least Firefox. I had to switch to desktop site mode to make it readable. That wasn't happening earlier today.

Maybe not a huge fan of the colors (although I'm sure it's a work in progress), but IMO a working pink site is far better than a broken one.

One of the reasons for the individual device forums was rooting, as that info was device-specific. With rooting really no longer a thing for 99% of people there is no longer a need for that.

Rob has tabled the name change due to the overwhelming negative reaction. Also he stated that even if a rename to something other than AF does happen at some point, there will be a permanent redirect so androidforums.com will always bring you here whatever it's called.

Well that's unfortunate. I use TT for several forums, it's convenient to have them all in one place and it allows for global dark mode by using the system theme. I use it in a basic mode without a Tapatalk account (who needs that?) and an effective adblocker (Blokada) so no ads or extra stuff to...
