    What is this under the battery cover?

    I found a rubber plug under the battery cover that covers a small diode. Why did they cut a relief in the metal bracket over the diode and make an access port covered by a rubber plug? All for one little diode? Just curious. Pics below:

    Root Any idea when the "C" software will be rooted?

    I was able to root before I updated the phone, but after the "C" update I can not root. I looked up the how-to stickied up there and they are working on a fix I guess. Any idea how far along the progress is?
