Apparently that's a phone from 2013, with only 4GB of internal storage. Which wasn't much for an Android phone 11 years ago.
I'm sure your quickest and easiest way by far, would be to insert a micro-SD/TF card in the phone and transfer/copy all the photos using the phone's own file manager app. You can put the phone in flight mode, so it will use less power.

Absolutely try rebooting the phone. And if the SD doesn't mount after that, then it most likely is a problem with the SD itself, like it has failed, or has become corrupted and unreadable.
