How does it work?

So far I have not had the silent call bug, the dialer is much quicker, the overall functionality of the phone is faster, I can type, I can slide from home screens without lag, and my Mflops score actually went up to about 2.3 (stock) from 1.5 or so. I feel that there are some very bad duds...

Has anyone with the silent call issue rooted to a non sense based port and had it go away?

Just sat on hold for 20 minutes with HTC and I asked CSR James if they were aware of issues with the silent call / loss of sound bug, and he stated when asked specifically that they were "aware of issues with the device after the update" and further he said yes when I asked specifically about...

On my Eris I have more stats under the battery section of the new 2.1 interface, I have specifically up time versus awake time. How do I tell this on the moment? I can see the up time under status and under battery use it says 94% android system (for 8 minutes since unplug from the charger)...

Really don't like the idea that it is installed with water... but ya know that now after. The guy who installed it used so much water he turned the water marker half way pink, Verizon said it is still covered but it cant have any more damage.

Does anyone's Eris music player skip, particularly on trance tracks? The tracks work fine on my ipod but on the phone it does this, and it is odd because I have not noticed it on any alternative music, although I do listen to trance more often.
