I would like to remove the provided e-mail icon at the bottom of the screen and replace it with a Gmail app. I don't like how the stock app handles my Gmail acct and just leaving it there takes up precious screen space. Any suggestions? Thanks!

Suddenly my EVO V 4G doesn't download apps that I've selected on the Google Play site (via my PC). I'm certain that I'm somehow to blame, so can someone please point me in the correct direction to fix this? It will still download apps selected via my phone, FWIW. Help please! :D
