    Root New Android user here...quick noob question

    I only have an iMac & Chromebook, and Nexus 7. I wanna root my Nexus 7 because I wanna use the six axis controller but it seems like the root kit only works on windows. Is this true? Or is there a mac one I can use to root my Nexus 7?
