    Proximity Sensor Problems

    Hello, I just bought from someone a HTC Desire. Now, I observe that the proximity sensor does not turn off the screen during phone calls. Is there any way to check if it is disabled somehow from code, or it is simply broken? Or maybe is a software issue/bug? Details on phone android version...
