When I try to install an app I get an error message to the effect that there's no more space :( I revert to factory settings and all is OK for the first few apps but then the same problem.

This probably applies to lots of phones - mine is Galaxy Y (Gingerbread) .....
I can move my SIM TOOLKIT (check balances etc.) to the desktop no problem, but every time the phone is turned off, the app disappears. Is there any way to superglue it to the desktop ? BTW the phone is rooted.

I have a Galaxy Y phone and a Nexus 7 tablet. I downloaded [Nexus Media Importer] from the store and I can link the tablet directly to a flash drive (via USB/micro USB adapter). It's magic !
