I got my eris in yesterday, been messing with it getting my stuff set up and went to see if i could root. *explicative deleted* 2.1 with hboot 1.49. Oh well, guess i'll live for a while until someone figures out how to root this one.

My Eris is coming in the mail some time this week and on the verizon website it mentions that the eris supports vcast media manager but not rhapsody. Now someone told me that it is coming to the eris this week can anyone confirm this?

So, My Eris is coming either tuesday or Wednesday and I have a simple question in regards to rooting. After i extract the bats to the Tools dir in the Android SDK do i just open the tools directory and run them that way or do i open a command prompt and run them from there? yes i'm a root newbie

I am upgrading from my LG Voyager soon and I'm looking to get an HTC Eris. And want to know What people who already own one think of them. I heard that the Eris is not Recognized by Verizon V-Cast with Rhapsody. Anyone got any tips?
