My maxx is a little over a year old and it seems the charge jack is wearing. Can Verizon repair svc in store replace it? Is it a good idea to get a new battery while they have it opened up? Thanks

I did the jb update a week ago and battery has definitely suffered. My wife and I both have exact same phone with virtually same setup. We have not yet updated her phone. We were both charging every other day, now I charge daily and she is still every other. I did do a cache clear but...
