Search results

The Calendar has suddenly stopped working in that all previous entries for future events have been erased and new ones cannot be created - Can make a new event and it says "new event created" but it does not appear on the phone. However; old and new events do still appear on my Nexus 7 tablet.

If I speak a voice search on my Android Moto g; I usually get a search result spoken to me. My wife's ace can be voice searched but the result is never spoken. Can this be achieved?
