    Root help unlocking, installing ROMs

    Here's a strange one, im sure. attempted last night to root / install 2.2 on my mytouch that originally had 1.6 on it. i dont have t mobile anymore so i cant connect the phone to Google to go thru the dumb tutorial and login. i need to unlock this phone but t mobile is stonewalling me saying...
