Hi. Recently upgraded phones to S4, so I am now feeling its "safe" to root my old nexus :D Basically, it will be used as a ereader/music player/game platform. I'm looking for a rom that will do all that really well, and not have a whole bunch of bells/whistles that will drain the battery...

Started yesterday. Wifi icon stays grey like its connecting, but never becomes blue. Some apps seem to work fine with the internet (email, play store, speedtest) but others seem to not be able to connect at all. i can make/recieve calls/sms just fine. ideas? running stock 4.2.2

Hi. I recently moved and am shocked that I lose my signal about 100 ft from my house. I can walk out my door (no signal at all, can't make calls, send texts, etc), 23 steps to the road, then turn and walk 64 steps down the road and have 3 bars. My question: is there an app, tweak, trick, etc...

Followed the instructions in the how to get google play thread. Got drivers installed no problem and ran the runme.bat. The runme.bat got to the point of pushing busybox and just sat there for almost an hour. So, in my expert stupidity, i reset the tablet. Now its doing the same thing on...
