    Nexus soft notification sounds

    I'm curious how loud peoples notification sound / ring tones are. I have the volume all the way up and the text message notification sounds are very soft. Even with the phone sitting on the desk. With the phone sitting on the screen it is a bit louder... I imagine I won't hear it at all if it is...

    Root Custom ROM comparison

    Can someone compare and contrast the different ROMs that are available? Also, are there any ROMs that actually update the phone to a newer version of Andriod... or are they all based on the version of Android and the stock rom images?
