    will i lose root if i did factory reset?

    dears. i'm actually going to update my samsung galaxy s2 i9100g form gingerbread to jellybean my mobile actually was rooted but will i lose root if i did factory reset ?? would u explain what is cwm ?? and how can i use it . and also help me to update my android version ?
