    Help Strange Ringtone Problem

    When I put a custom ringtone in the ringtone folder (doesn't matter if it is MP3 M4A or WMA conversion), that ringtone plays as a series of mid-pitch beeps. Doesn't matter what the actual sound is supposed to be. Any ideas? Thanks.
