    gmail app

    I appear to have 2 ways of accessing mail on my phone. Considering the limited capacity on the Wildfire I would like to know is the gmail app in the apps section required and if it is not how do I remove it. I can do a force stop and clear data but not an uninstall. Any help would be appreciated.
