    Root Data throttling on cm11

    Does anybody know how to stop data throttling on cm11 ?? It is so annoying without throttle I get somewhere between 100KB/s -300 KB/s but when boost mobile throttle speeds it shoots down to like 40KB/s MAX. Its so anyoying.     This is my first time posting ive ben lurking around the forums for a while and i don't wana sound like a noob but what are kernals? I'm rooted on JB i have cwm installed and everything so i kinda know about this stuff. But i would like to know what kernals are , how to install them etc etc. Thanks!
