I heard that the original free release of this app was 10 times better than the free one available now. I just want to try it with all the bells and whistles before I fork over the cash... And before you say anything, I am recently very frugal and try to keep my money as long as I can... but...

1) Right now, how would I go about trying out different roms and what wsteps would I need to take to do so? Is it as easy s placing the ROM and rebooting that special way and doing something? 2) How do I change fonts in plane jane, to the default one that comes with the phone? Appreciate any help.

New to these parts... Is Pinch-to-Zoom stock on the google maps app? or is my only option rooting the phone?
