On my Droid X with 2.2, I change the stock calendar to "Agenda" view but when I go back in later, it's switched back to "Month" view. This happens every time.
I can't find an option to set the "default" calendar view in the app. Is there another way to set "Agenda" to be the default?
Is there a way on the Droid X (or any Android) to lookup a contact by their phone number?
On the iPhone you can type the number in via the number pad and if it's in your contacts, the name is displayed.
I was rooted under 2.1 and installed the Froyo 2.2 update easily on the first try. Everything is working great in 2.2 except that I lost root.
I have tried going back through the root tutorial but am getting an error on this step:

When I go to add the Messaging widget, it shows all of my email accounts except for GMail. Why would I not be able to add GMail notifications to this messaging widget?
Can someone tell me what the 'MIN' value is on the Droid X under the Menu -> Settings -> About -> Status? It appears to be a phone number but it isn't mine.
This is just under the 'My Phone Number' field (which does have the correct phone number) and just above the MEID.
Thanks

Is there a way to automate this or...
Coming from the iPhone where the entire thing is backed up every time you sync, I'm looking for something similar for my Droid X.

Can I rename icons on the Droid X? For instance, I have an application shortcut named 'Email' on a screen that is actually my 'Work Email' and I would like to rename it to that.
Is there a way to do this?
Is there a Cisco VPN client available for the Droid X? I use this for RDP to my work computer.
None of the Droid X VPN setups allow for:
Description: Name of VPN
Server: VPN address
Account: logon id
Password: logon password
Group Name: group name
Secret: secret word
Am I missing something or is this not available yet? I have tried cut & paste from an incoming email (both in Gmail and Yahoo) and can't seem to figure out a way to do it.
I also tried cut & paste from the web browser, from a Google Doc and it doesn't work.
Any suggestions?
