Can I download an app from the market and save the apk somewhere so that if it's ever removed from the market I can re-install it again?

How do I clear the defaults for a contact? I had said for one contact to always use the mobile number for texting, and now when I press the contact I no longer get the option for which # to dial, it uses the one I set as the default for texting.

Before the 2.2 update, I had no unlocks required at all. Now after loading the updating and doing a factory reset, I get the slide to unlock after my phone sleeps. I don't want it. How do I get rid of it? The security lock is set to none.
