So I just rooted my old reliable Droid and installed ROM Manager. I did the Flash ClockwordMOD Recovery option which seemed to be successful, but when I Reboot into Recovery.. all I seem to get is the Motorola symbol followed by an icon of a phone (looks like it's laying in a shallow grave)...

I'm just curious what the top reason for people to root their phone is? What is the first thing you do after you root your phone? For me, I just rooted my phone today for the first time. I've been an Android user since day 1 with the G1 but I never really felt the need to root my phone...
