I want to flash a 'Kies recognisable' firmware to my phone but I don't yet understand which firmware I have to use. I don't know which on applies to my device.
I'm in the UK on the O2 network and I have the International S2.
Any help will be rewarded.
;)
I would never buy an iMac, but one thing I do like about it is it's display. It's amazing.
What monitors, by Dell, LG, or anybody else, can match the quality of the iMac display?
... or any other communication reminder.
This was only possible by Rooting and installing a ROM. You don't need too no more.
Download NoLED. It now flashes the soft buttons on and off as a reminder together with icons on the screen.
Go into its settings, then colours, and set any reminder you...
Is there a way to disable the lock screen wallpaper? When I bring the phone out of standby I want to see the home screen when entering my password to unlock the phone.
That or a transparent lock screen wallpaper.
I usually turn off my data if I'm not using it. But then I go to send an MMS and realise a few minutes later that I have disabled the data connection.
So I turn it back on but the MMS just won't send, I have one I sent hours ago and only have just activated the data switch and would've thought...
Menu > Settings > Applications > Manage applications > Samsung Apps. You'll have three options here... Off, Wi-Fi only or Packet data. Check the 'Off' button.
Then...

My girlfriend and I went on a road trip and took a break for something to eat.
Anyways, I asked her to show me what she won on ebay. So out comes her iphone 4s and she's there trying to load up the product on her ebay app for 5 minutes... Were both in Mc Donalds on their wifi. So I handed her...
Ok. What i've decided to do is to search for the relevant folders and add a (.) to the start of the folder/file name. This means the media scanner ignores these folders.
Well it has been for a week or two but still this is great news...

I just realised that I can only add attachments to emails from the picture gallery. I have my CV in a separate folder but the only way to add my CV is to access it first then attach it to an email. I cannot access it from within composing an email.
Is it me or is there a way to access...
Ok. I've realised something happening to the display settings on my phone, namely the screen timeout and brightness settings.
When ever my phone goes into 'power saving mode' on a low battery, mines set to 10% threshold, the auto brightness setting turns off and my screen timeout reverts to...
I saw a new app' on the market a week or so ago where you could send a text to someone and after a set time the message would vanish from the recipients phone.
It was a fairly new app' but I cannot find it.
Can some one help me find this?
:)
There seems to be some apps that I cannot update no matter what I try.
Right now there's an update to Google Maps 5.11.0 but when I click on update it stays on a blank screen with the loading symbol.
I'm on a stock SGS2.
I've just realised how easy it would be for anyone to restore the phone to factory settings. But it also could be done accidentally.
Is there a way to password protect the factory restore setting to prevent this?
I think I've just found a slight glitch with this launcher...
When you use any of the horizontal app scrollers you can select the apps on the following 'hidden' page by pressing in the blank area between the dock icons and the bottom row of apps... Hopefully you get what I mean here. :)
Just...
I've posted one or two pics to this forum, from my computer, but would like to know if it's possible to post pictures to this forum directly from the gallery on my Android?
See picture...
Texting upright is fine but I like texting with the phone horizontal as the keys are bigger and it's easier to hold and text. But part of the text input display is covered up?
Is there any way round this?
