After installing it I tried to reboot it, not the samsung logo comes up and fades to light blue and thats it! What have I done wrong and how do I fix it?

My Ace is currently running on 2.3.3, baseband version: S5830XXKP8. How can I update it to 2.3.5 using Odin? My phone is also locked to a network if that matters.

I tried to install a new update for my phone using Kies for the first time. I pulled the phone out of the USB. Now my phone screen has a thing like this. [computer image]..../!\....[phone image]. I pressed Volume down, Home and Power and now it says Downloading... In Yelow/Orange writing...
