I recently updated my phone to the latest Cyanogen Mod and I have been unable to access the marketplace. It asks me to add an account to the phone. I say yes and it kicks me back to the previous screen. Is there anyway I can fix this without having to start the rooting process all over again...

I have had my Android for a few months now and I have been trying for the last few weeks to root it, but so far none of the guides I have read anywhere have done the job for me...can anyone dumb the steps down or post a video so i can finally get this done? any help is appreciated.
