lg g pad 8.3

I'm not sure how it happened, but my GPad now shows red text on the side that says Test mode. I've tried researching this issue, but I can't find it how to get rid of it. Any ideas?

After updating my VZW G3 to VS98549A I checked for updates for my Gpad.... Sho nuff an update is available and it's happening right now. Hopefully it will update the Android security patch from 6/1/2016 Edit Software version VK81525B Android security patch level 2016-10-01 It's nice to be updated

A few days ago a notification icon came on just to the right of the wifi signal. It's a red x on what looks like a white document page. The G Pad manual lists some common notification icons but does not show this one. Does anyone recognize it and know what it is supposed to be telling me? Thanks.
