Hi i rooted my motorola Dext with 2.01 firmwall end ... I don't have Bell Connection (my phone is not able to do call ... ) end i want to return to 1.5 so .. if someone can Help me !!!!

Dext, rooted, vanilla eclair. Recently, on some phonecalls the receiver says I am coming through like a wheezing/whisper. Restarting phone, or killing running apps fixes it. If I use a handsfree, the issue still exists. Any ideas how the software could cause the phone to do that?
