Niantic has revealed more details about its game's first birthday celebration. Apparently, you can participate in the event no matter where you are in the world by working with the participants at Grant Park during three Challenge Windows that will take place throughout the day.

One of the services that taps into the Pokemon Go API and allows you to track Pokemon from your web browser is being resurrected this weekend. FastPokeMap was originally shut down due to an update from Niantic, but the service will be back up and running this weekend.
Niantic is pushing the latest version of Pokemon Go onto the Play Store which will now allow trainers to bring 6 Pokemon into battle against a gym, as well as possibly lowering the CP ranking of the opposing Pokemon.
