Is your device unlocked? If so, maybe try picking up a prepaid or pay as you go SIM card once across the border?

I use wifi whenever it is at all possible anyway. It just alleviates any worries of overages.
I was just thinking though (dangerous, I know) that maybe T-Mo has an international data feature that you could add on just for the time that you are there.
It might be worth checking on that.

That $10 per MB is their international data plan for Canada, it's $15 per MB any other country :banghead:
