I have looked all over online and on this forum and couldn't really find a definitive answer on this. Anyway, I've read that Droid Incredible and EVO 4 uses the new Atmel Maxtouch sensor which can recognize more than 8 points touch at the same time. (10 being the maximum). This is great and all but unfortunately I can't get my phone to recognize more than 2 at any given time
Case in point, I downloaded Multitouch visualizer 2 from the market (which can recognize more than 3 points) and the Dinc will never register anymore than 2 points at once. Another example is Gameboid, I talked to the developer and he stated Eclair can support up to 8 multitouch but it just simply will not recognize more than 2 points on mine. My question is, do you guys have the same issue, could this be faulty hardware or just a driver issue? If you want to run a test, download Multitouch Visualizer 2 from the market and see if it can register more than 2 points....Hopefully some of the developers on this forum can look at the touch driver and see if that might be an issue? Any feedback on this would be helpful.
