1080P Android 2.3 Cortex A9 TV Box from DX

Hi Everybody,
My second post.

I just received the above mentioned Android TV box from DX.

Set it up easy...working fine, connected to Wifi. No problems so far.
It just comes with some crappy software. No market , facebook, Skype twitter or anything.

Most things in Chinese or Korean.

I would love to update it and change the software, get android market there and really start using the thing.

Do i have to dump the existing firmware...and install a new ROM...or could i just try to install the android market.apk and start installing apps?

Hello Jeroen1971. I have the same box and I made the mistake of updating without having the original rom. Now my device freezes after some seconds (50 approx). It is true that the software is crap, but while there is no secure update. Do not change it.
Now I'm trying to get the original ROM, but can not find it anywhere.
