Can someone explain the gobble-dee-gook at the bottom of the Running Services screen (at least on Android 2.0) in layman's english? I like to think I'm pretty savvy when it come to IT-related stuff, but I just don't get what all that means, and how it relates to my actual available memory at any given moment.

Based on some advice here, I have rid myself of the 3rd party "task killer" apps, and I agree that the phone seems faster for the most part without them. But at least the task killer app told me exactly how much memory was available in plain english.

Does the lack of responses mean that everyone else is just as clueless as to why Android chooses to display available memory in this format as I am??
