i have this is in my firm where update spot..... any helpful hints?

also when i go to root it...... it says E:EOCD marker occurs after the start of eocd

well.... sorry ok i just read what i wrote and it looked retarted...... well any ways i have 2.1 update 1 and i wanna root my phone how do i go about doing this? and if so can any one just link me a file i can use to root it plz...
