Help 2.1 update - stuck at boot screen

Hi all,

I plugged my galaxy in today and New PC studio informed me of an update.

I went ahead and installed.

Now it says 'upgrade in progress... do not disconnect phone from pc' on my pc

this has hung at 0% for about 20 minutes...

my phone is just at the boot screen and has also been stuck there for 20 minutes.

What can I do? Does the udpate take that long?

Nope, that's not right. It took me three tires to get it right and also needed to do a restore. Make sure you have your firewall turned off before you start the upgrade. Many of us have found that helps. At the point you are at now, it's OK to unplug the USB cable. You'll have to restart the phone by taking out the battery, but it should come back on with the old version. Also restart NPS and make sure you get a fresh start. Then try again with firewall off.
