Follow along with the video below to see how to install our site as a web app on your home screen.
Note: This feature may not be available in some browsers.
I don't have an android phone but what is everyone's experience on the new 2.2 Froyo update? More specifically, is adobe flash 10.1 working fine in web browsing? Can you, for example, watch YouTube videos directly on the web?
I'm a bit confused, if you have froyo shouldn't flash be in the market?

It is not in the app store yet, I have heard that it won't be in the app store until the official release (not beta). I think that is supposed to be the 18th.
but when you go to install it, it can not find it.I saw it on App Brain
I LOVE the fact I can now go to whatever website and NOT see that little blue box with the yellow question mark! I am able to watch YouTube on the web, end my calls just by pressing the power button, move apps to my SD Card, allow many of my apps to auto-update in the market, and so much more!
After I spent a few hours getting to know my Froyo 2.2, my husband (who also owns a MotoDroid) asked me to force the update on his.
Finding the Flash update was a little tough, and I should have called my son who had just done the Froyo 2.2 on his fiancee's device and knew where to find the Flash update. Could have saved me a few hours of frustration!
Eventually we who have Froyo 2.1 WILL get the 2.2 update. There are some of us who are getting it sooner and are truly enjoying our new devices!
Oh - instead of 3 homescreens there are five, the drag-up to get to your apps has been replaced by a little launcher that has auto access to the phone, the apps (and the interface there is MUCH more beautiful), and the browser - so those apps can be removed from your home screen(s) to free up space.
If you have any other questions, please read other "What have you found in 2.2" in the forums. I didn't but I am quite happy finding the sweet little nuances on my own!
If you aren't sure, don't do it yet. If you want something new, take the plunge and do it. It's easy enough that I could do it (and my husband is the techie in the house!) so just follow the directions here: http://androidforums.com/motorola-d...update-motrola-droid-frg01b-update-1-2-a.html
This gives you both the computer and OTA options for updating. I used the computer/USB and it worked better than I could imagine.
Hope this has helped you make your decision and I hope you enjoy your device, regardless what you choose to do!

Not rooted at the current time, MotoDroid running Froyo 2.2 forced upgrade, Flash 10.1 update running great! The advice given here is my own opinion and may differ from others. Your experience with your own device may differ!
This update for me was a good one.
Between running the app LOOKOUT and live wallpapers, my phone used to be a pig, very slow at pretty much everything. Now the phone is defenitely noticeably faster.
Also you can now rotate either left or right and it will rotate accordingly. Before it used to be just to the left.
But I still can't end calls w/ the power button. I'll try later again.
You have to turn the feature on, the option is under settings->Accessibility
Im curious I got the froyo 2.2 OTA update(desire) I can see adobe flash 10.1 in application list but it has no size value is that right or is the file too small to register a size? Web pages load up fine though
