2.2 Update never worked on my phone...PLEASE HELP!!!

Hey guys.

I got my 2.2 update yesterday but it didn't work. i hit the install now button, it restared and it gave me a exclamation mark with a phone next to it page. I left it for a while, and when i realized it wasn't doing anything, i turned my phone off.

When it turned back on it was working great, except i never got the upgrade. So i went into settings to manually update my phone, and it said "your phone is currently up to date" which is not true at all. My version is still at 2.1.

What can i do???? please help. I hear good things about the new update, and it really sucks that i can't get it .

The same thing happened to me but i rebooted a second time and it booted into 2.2, if this doesn't work i'd suggest going to verizon.

Call verizon tech support, maybe they can resend the update to your phone.

When my phone rebooted after I clicked "install" I got the motorola logo for a while (2 hours), which killed my phones battery. When I charged and restarted my phone, I was still running 2.1 with the message "your system is currently up to date."

Any ideas?
